1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the QR Global service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and QR Global.

2. Description of Service

QR Global is an online service for creating, customizing, and managing dynamic and static QR codes. The Service includes a QR code generator, scan analytics, history storage, design customization tools, and other related features made available through our website and API.

3. Registration and Account

3.1 Registration

• Registration is required to access the full functionality of the Service
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Restrictions

• A single user may not hold multiple free-plan accounts to circumvent usage limits
• Granting access to your account to third parties without our consent is prohibited
• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to create an account

4. Use of the Service

4.1 Permitted Use

• Creating QR codes for lawful personal, business, or commercial purposes
• Use in marketing materials, packaging, events, and any legitimate project
• Integrating with our API in accordance with the applicable rate limits and documentation
• Compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations

4.2 Prohibited Use

• Creating QR codes that link to malicious, deceptive, or fraudulent content, including phishing or malware
• Sending spam or redirecting scanners to unsolicited or fraudulent websites
• Encoding content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Encoding content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, or that promotes violence, self-harm, or the sale of illegal goods
• Attempting to circumvent usage limits, security measures, or rate limiting of the Service
• Reverse engineering, scraping, or reselling the Service without written authorization
• Use for any activity that violates the law or the rights of others

5. Pricing Plans and Payment

• The Free plan permits a limited number of QR codes per month; paid plans (Light, Premium) increase these limits
• All prices are displayed in advance and are subject to applicable taxes
• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, LemonSqueezy, acting as merchant of record; your payment details are handled directly by LemonSqueezy and are not stored on our servers
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then
• Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of a charge, in particular in the event of a billing error, duplicate charge, or where required by applicable consumer protection law; refunds are not guaranteed for partial use of a billing period
• We reserve the right to change our pricing plans; existing subscribers will be notified in advance of any price change taking effect on their next renewal

6. Liability

You bear full responsibility for the content you create, encode, and distribute through the Service and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations when using QR codes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, QR Global is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Ownership and Licensing

• You retain full ownership of the content you enter into the Service and the destinations your QR codes point to
• We grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute the QR codes you generate for any lawful purpose, including commercial use
• The Service itself, including its software, design, logos, and underlying technology, is owned by QR Global and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
• You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service's software or branding without our prior written consent

8. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in prohibited use, or for other reasons at our reasonable discretion, including discontinuation of the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately; provisions relating to ownership, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

9. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the Service or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
